The Confrontation I am writing this letter to express
the feelings and emotions I have for you. This is no ordinary letter, but an expression of
my deepest affections for you. Cherish this letter and keep it always…for I hope that
it will make you happy when you are sad, loved when you are lonely, humbled when you are
proud. We will work together to make this relationship grow. But if we fail, let this
letter be a lasting reminder of a man who truly loved you. We have walked along life's path
together for some time, and now we have come to a fork in the road. Now you must choose
which road to take. To the left is the way of deceit, cruelty and disrespect. I must go to
the right because it leads to a life of love, monogamy, honesty, respect and kindness.
That is where I am headed, and I want you to come with me. Life is short and we are, at this very moment, standing hand in hand at the crossroad. Come with me now or watch me walk away. Now is the time. Now is the time! Let us create our paradise in this imperfect world; a place where we can flourish in mind, body, and spirit. From this moment on, let not one harsh word pass between us…and to you I will give my love, my life.
